To connect the signal and power supply wires:

1. Open the barometer cover by taking out the four cover screws.

2. Insert the power supply wires and signal wires through the cable

bushing in the bottom of the barometer; see the grounding

instructions in the previous sections.

3. Connect the RS-232 user port cables to terminals RxD, GND,

and TxD. For more information about the RS-232 connection,

see section Serial Line Communication, on page 64.

4. When wiring the RS-485 module, the relay m

odule or the analog

output module, see sections RS-422/RS-485 Interface Module

on page 42, Relay Module RELAY-1 on page 40, and Analog

Output Module on page 38.

5. Connect the power supply wires to the connectors: POW

ER 10

... 35V (+) and (-) terminals.

6. Turn on the power. The indicator led on the cover is lit

continuously during normal operation.

7. Close the cover and replace the cover screws. The barometer is

ready for use.

NOTE

If you have chosen the external power control option, you must

remove the wire between the "Power control" and "Power +" -

terminals prior to using the power control feature.
